Apple Tree Academy (North Wilkesboro) Center Director

The mission of Apple Tree Academies (ATA) is to provide professional, consistent, safe, high quality early childhood and school age services for the children that attend our childcare centers and their families. Apple Tree Academies was founded in 1995 and currently operates sixteen (16) centers in 14 different markets in North Carolina and Virginia.

ATA is seeking a Childcare Center Director to manage our center located in North Wilkesboro, NC.  In this extremely rewarding position, you will assume ultimate responsibility for creating and maintaining a nurturing and loving environment for the families we serve. Our directors are responsible for all aspects of managing their center, including safety, financial, marketing, and customer relations, within the guidelines established by ATA. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skill in building relationships with staff, parents, and children.

This position requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service. Additional requirements include computer experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, North Carolina State qualifications (21 years old, High School Diploma or G.E.D., and a Level II NCECAC) and at least two years management experience in a childcare facility.
